Have you read the ingredients on soup cans? They are filled with high levels of sodium, trans fats, and artificial preservatives such as MSG (monosodium Glutamate). One cup of canned soup can have almost 1,000 milligrams of salt, usually people eat more than one cup, which doubles the amount of sodium. There are organic brands that Is low in sodium with no MSG or you can make your own... says Ms Bettie.
