Potato chips and French fries are snack foods that contain acryl amide, a known carcinogen and neurotoxin that is formed when foods are baked or fried at high temperatures. According to CSPI, “a large order of fast food fries contains at least 300 times the amount of acryl amide allowed by the EPA in a glass of water.”
