Liver, Bone, and Joint Health
Nuts and seeds are an important part of a healthy whole foods diet.
Walnuts
A final note on walnuts:  Walnuts are potent with bio-available melatonin which is needed for healthy sleep and prevent weight gain.
Macadamia Nut for Liver Health
It is said that the Macadamia nut will diminish alcohol cravings as it rejuvenate the liver.  It’s a great sugar free snack.
Cashews for Healthy Bones
Cashews are high in magnesium which is needed to bind with calcium for healthy bones.  They are high in cooper and oleic acid.  They provide energy and lower blood pressure.
Sesame Seeds for Calcium
Sesame seeds are rich in calcium; vitamin B1; phosphorus; and very high in fiber.  They protect the liver and joints.  Calcium is important for bones, and also prevents colon cancer, migraines and PMS symptoms.
Pumpkin Seeds for Healthy Joints
Pumpkin seeds are high in zinc, omega-3 fatty acids, manganese, magnesium, iron, cooper and protein.  It’s been proven to be anti-inflammatory; lower the risk of prostate cancer; cholesterol; and helps arthritis.
Sunflower Seed for DetoxSunflower seeds are high in all the nutrients in pumpkin seeds including vitamin E and the trace mineral selenium, which detoxify the body; reduce inflammation and prevent cancer.
All nuts and seed must be eaten raw, not roasted, baked or salted.
