Genetic Modified Foods are created, yes created, by using a process called Recombinant DNA Technology.

 "DAY 15th MONTH 2, 2011

Genetic Modified Foods are created, yes created, by using a process called Recombinant DNA Technology. Scientists take selected parts of DNA (genes) of an organism such as a virus, bacteria, or an animal. That section of DNA is inserted into the DNA of another species. The results are a genetically modified organism that has new or altered traits. This would never happen in nature so it is an unnatural process.

According to Jeffrey M. Smith, author of “Seeds of Deceptions,” and “Genetic Roulette:” when animals are fed GM crops, they develop problems with blood cell formation; liver cell formation; toxicity of liver and kidney; false pregnancy and sterility; damage to reproduction system, an alteration of DNA function; and damage to the organ system. Also, many animals and their off springs died as a result of eating GM foods.

Have you read the ingredients on soup cans?  They are filled with high levels of sodium, trans fats, and artificial preservatives such as MSG (monosodium Glutamate).   One cup of canned soup can have almost 1,000 milligrams of salt, usually people eat more than one cup, which doubles the amount of sodium.  There are organic brands that Is low in sodium with no MSG or you can make your own... says Ms Bettie.

                         Soda Continue Day 10 Month 2, 2011

An average can of soda has 10 teaspoons of sugar, 150 calories, 30 to 55 mg of caffeine, artificial food colors and sulphites. Diet sodas have the even-more-unhealthy artificial sweeteners. A major part of the problem is that sodas have become a staple in many people's diets. A study in the journal Pediatrics found that 56 percent to 85 percent of children consume at least one soft drink a day, and 20 percent of adolescent males drink four or more sodas a day.
"Parents and health officials need to recognize soft drinks for what they are -- liquid candy -- and do everything they can to return those beverages to their former role as an occasional treat," says the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), a U.S. consumer group. In fact, CSPI has recently petitioned the Food and Drug says Ms Bettie.

UNHEALTHY FOODS THAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED: THEY DEFILE THE BODY AND CAUSE DISEASE

Today, We  Look  at SODA     DAY 9th MONTH 2, 2011
We have been talking about healthy cleansing foods for the body, now we want to talk about unhealthy foods.  Many of the unhealthy foods are the ones that cause preventable diseases.
Did you know that the average can of soda pop consist of approximate 10 teaspoons of sugar, not to mention the number of calories, caffeine, artificial food colors, acid, and other chemicals?  Diet sodas are even worst with the artificial sweeteners.  No they are not healthy:  the chemicals in the sweeteners are said to cause seizures, and many other problems.  Diabetics drink diet sodas, thinking they are getting less sugar but really they are getting more, and their health problems are worst because of it.
Yes, sodas are causing low potassium levels, muscle weakness, muscle aches, pains, cramps,  irregular heartbeats, loss of bone due to the high acid content, and much more.

NATURE’ S HEALING NECTAR: RAW HONEY

RAW HONEY and its NATURAL PROPERTIES…….continue "DAY 8. Month 2, 2011"
Buckwheat honey is a natural cough suppressant that is good for children.  Hot water with lemon and raw honey will soothe sore throat and calm coughing spasms in children and adults.  Never give children under two years of age honey, because of the risk of botulism.  What is Buckwheat honey?
Buckwheat honey is a strong-flavored honey with a dark purple color that looks almost black.  . Its dark color and taste are indicative of molasses.  Darker honey is said to contain more antioxidants, which provide a defense against free radicals, help fight heart disease, cancer, and other maladies. Buckwheat honey is also a great source of iron. Other benefits include:  higher mineral content; no fat or cholesterol; provides quick energy; and can be stored without refrigeration.
Buckwheat is a popular plant with bee keepers because it of its plentiful flowers, but its production has gradually decreased over the years. A buckwheat field in full bloom appears to form a dense ground cover of white flowers, but in actuality each individual plant is rather gangly and awkward when lifted from the ground. Flowering starts around three weeks following planting and the dense fields of flowers provide a prolific source of nectar for honey bees. This thick carpet of flowers lasts for a few weeks and then tapers as the plant matures.
Did you know that the combination of honey and lemon causes fat stores to shift and become available for fuel?  Drinking a small amount of honey in lemon water, hot or cold, is a perfect tonic during a detox routine.  Honey should be used in moderation as well as any other sweetener.   There is healing properties in small dosages of honey.  Large amounts will over burden the liver with glycogen and cause an imbalance in the blood sugar.
Raw honey is not cooked.  When honey is processed, it is heated to temperatures of 160 degrees; followed by a filtering process that takes out the pollen, beeswax, and enzymes.  These are the ingredients that make honey a healthy dietary supplement.  It is said, that once these ingredients are removed, corn syrup is sometimes added to increase the shelf life.
Watch the amount of your intake ...says Ms Bettie

NATURE’ S HEALING NECTAR: RAW HONEY

RAW HONEY and its NATURAL PROPERTIES   " DAY 7th MONTH 2, 2011
Did you know that when raw honey is in its pure state it is filled with antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal phytonutrients?    The nutrients in honey are soothing, nourishing, and toning for the digestive system.  It has a laxative property and the enzymes in honey have shown to aid in the healing of gastric ulcers and ease digestive disorders.  The minerals and enzymes in raw honey contain friendly bacteria of lactobacilli in six different species; and bifidobacteria in four different species.   These species of bacteria will help to balance the flora in the digestive tract and neutralize toxins.
Honey tones the liver and regulates the blood sugar.  It has a ratio of 1:1 of fructose to glucose.  It is said that the fructose unlocks the enzyme that converts glucose to glycogen.  The brain needs glycogen for fuel during sleep and physical activity.  If the liver does not provide enough glycogen, the stress hormones will cause muscle proteins to be converted to glycogen and overtime this can cause metabolic stress which will lead to insulin resistance, weight gain, and diabetic.  So, what is glycogen?
Glycogen is the main way the body stores glucose for later use. It is a large molecule produced in the liver, although it is also stored in the muscle and fat cells. After carbohydrate ingestion, more glycogen will be produced, and then released as blood glucose levels fall.

Healthy Spices That Have Anti-Inflammatory and Blood Purifying Properties

                                               Turmeric  "Day 05, 2011"
Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory agent; a blood purifier, improve liver function and has a soothing effect on respiratory ailments.  It helps the body to digest proteins, when mixed with coriander and cumin it aids in the digestion of complex carbohydrates.  Now,  I know you are asking, “What are complex carbohydrates?
Complex carbohydrates are chains of three or more single sugar molecules linked together. Long chains of sugar molecules called starches serve as a storage form of energy in plants and when you eat those plants, your body breaks down the carbohydrates for your own energy needs.
Foods with the most complex carbohydrates include legumes, starchy vegetables like potatoes and corn, rice and grain products.   Other vegetables such as green beans, broccoli and spinach contain less starch, but they have more fiber.
It is said, that turmeric will create glowing skin, reduce risk of cancer, lower cholesterol, and improve brain function.  It can also be used in foods to enhance the flavor, such as soups, steam vegetables, stir-fry and on raw vegetables and fruits.

WHOLE GRAIN: BROWN RICE HEALTH BENEFITS

Why Brown Rice and not White Rice  "Day 26, 2011"
What is the difference between brown rice and white rice?  Why we should eat brown rice and not white rice.  Brown rice is whole grain and has several layers, when milling only the outer shell is removed.  This process is lease damaging to the nutritional value of the rice, and nutrients are not lost with further processing.  When brown rice is milled until the bran and most of germ layer is removed, it’s no longer brown but white:  most of the nutrients have also been removed.  The process is still not complete; now the rice must be polished to make it white.  Polishing removes the aleurone layer (a granular protein found in the endosperm of many seeds; or outer most layers in cereal grain) of the grain.  This layer is filled with healthy essential fats.  Once refined, these fats are exposed to air, causing oxidation; because the original nutrients has been removed the results is a simply refined starch, with a high glycemic index.  The aleurone layer is removed to extend the products shelf life.

What Doctors say about " Cabbage"

                            Cabbage Continue "Day  21, 2011
The common cabbage has been of vital importance to mankind over 4,000 years of its culti-vation.   Hippocrates once remarked that “physicians shouldn't hesitate to borrow from folklore that which can be useful in medicine.”  We now know, with sound proof, that the folklore of cabbage has stood the test of time and scientific experimentation.

Doctors Marat and Lens of the Faculty of Medicine of Paris wrote in 1829 (Universal Dictionary of Material Medical): "The cabbage is one of the most valuable acquisitions of man.  It combats scurvy, it prevents gout, the tender leaves are applied to wounds, and seeds are indicated for worms."

Doctor Garnett-Cheney, Professor at the Medical School of Stanford, published a report concerning the use of cabbage juice in the treatment of gastric ulcers.  Of 65 cases reported in his series, 62 were cured at the end of three weeks.  Cabbage has been recommended to correct anemia of experimental animals induced by an all-milk diet.

In research at the University of Texas, Dr. W. Shiva extracted from cabbage a substance he calls Glutamine, useful in the treatment of alcoholism and peptic ulcer.

News About Parsely!

Parsley:  A Healthy Herb for Cleansing the Liver  Continue "Day 19, 2011"

Many times we are unappreciative of certain herbs and foods, because we do not know their value and benefits to health.  Parsley is one of those unappreciated herbs.  It is usually used for its beauty in garnishing a dish, and then tossed into the garbage.

Well, let me give you some important news about parsley.  It neutralizes toxins in the liver; inhibits abnormal cell growth by preventing the growth of tumors and cancers; and boosts the immune system. Parsley contains volatile oils and flavonoids such as vitamins A and C that works at the cellular level to cleanse toxins and reduce arthritis and asthma.  Parsley’s array of nutrients, such as vitamins A, and C, stimulate healthy lungs, joints and heart, while chlorophyll, calcium, sodium, magnesium, and iron improves digestion, promotes urination, relieves mucous conditions that cause weight gain, swollen glands, bladder and kidney conditions.

The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.”  Proverbs 13:14

The foundation for a healthy body through foods...Returning to cleansing foods

The healing power of cucumbers  Continue "Day 18, 2011"

We are now returning to the power of cleansing foods.  We realize that you may not have understood why we are doing this blog.  Now that you have the information and knowledge, we can continue with cleansing foods.  Some people will be skeptical of cleanses, but they will eat foods that will cleanse the body.  We will tell you how to get the products you may use for an entire body cleanse after we give you the whole truth about the foods that you may use. These foods must be used doing the cleansing process, so it’s better that you know the whole truth before spending money and continue with the same habits.
Today we will look at vegetables.  Why cucumbers are considered a cleansing food?   Because hydration is critical for detoxification, cucumbers are great for their high water content.  Water retention will block the elimination process for removing toxins.  The flesh of cucumbers is good for solving this dilemma, and it is also rich in ascorbic acid and caffeic acid (hydroxycinnamic acid), which prevent water retention.  The skins of the cucumbers are also high in fiber and minerals such as silica, magnesium and potassium.  These minerals play a role in fluid balance while the fiber with efficient water will lower blood pressure.
Cucumbers are beneficial for soothing skin irritation or puffy eyes.  They cool the skin and reduce inflammation.  Silica is needed for healthy connective tissue, skin repairs, muscles, cartilage and bones.  Therefore this vegetable should be eaten daily to maintain a healthy body
You want to purchase organic or farm raise vegetables from your area.  Conventional vegetables are usually coated with a petroleum based wax to reduce damage in shipping.  If you buy conventional vegetables, you must peel the vegetable and then the healing qualities in the skin will be lost .

Rose Anding 's Book Journey of Healthy Habits...for 2011: How do we get Parasites?

Rose Anding 's Book Journey of Healthy Habits...for 2011: How do we get Parasites?: " Parasit..."

How do we get Parasites?

Parasites:  He we get them and how to prevent
                                   getting them.
This may be a subject that is frightening and just plain unbelievable.   Many people may think that it is not true, because the health field has little to say on the matter.  Every day doctors are turning from the scientific branch of health to the holistic approach.  They recognize that the medical field is dealing with symptoms while the problems continue to accelerate.
Now, how do we get parasites? Many of the parasites we get come through the food source.  Meats such as pork, fish, and beef are parasitic and must be cooked thoroughly.  Fish carries tape worms; pork carries a variety of parasites, including a tapeworm and so does beef.  We will not name all the types of worms that inhabit the human body.  Just know that if you are not in optimal health, you may be a host for them.
Fruits and vegetables also carry parasites and should not be eaten until wash thoroughly with a vegetable-fruit wash or wash in apple cider vinegar or a food grade bacterium wash.  Always clean fruits and vegetables before cutting and cook vegetables thoroughly to rid of parasites.
We also get parasites through the exchange of bodily fluids:  sexual contact, saliva in the mouth and from dogs licking your face or mouth.  Microscopic parasites may travel through the mouth and in the man’s semen.  The sexual transmitted parasite, trichomonas vaginalis, can be carried by male and female.  In women, the parasite cause a foul smelling discharge, painful urination, bladder and urethra problems.  In men, the parasite will cause infection in the reproductive tract, prostate, and urinary tract.  A cleansing treatment must include both parties to prevent re-infection.
Yes, your pet may also be a source of parasite contamination. When a dog licks his anus and then lick you on the face or mouth, he may transmit parasites to your body.  Your dog should be de-wormed at least twice a year, to protect the family and the pet.
Now, this is even more alarming.  Parasites are threatening our children that play in sand boxes, as well as those who enjoy a barefoot walk on the beach or in your yard.  The hookworm parasite will burrow into the skin and cause an itchy rash.  They will travel into the circulatory system, the lungs or the digestive system, where they attach themselves to the walls of the intestines and drink your blood. To avoid getting these nasty critters, wash your hands frequently, especially under the nails.  Cook all meats well done and that include eggs…please.  Do not walk out doors barefooted, or dig in the dirty without putting on gloves.  Make sure you wash all your fruits and vegetables thoroughly before eating.  If you have parasites, it is imperative that you rid your body of them before health problems occur says Ms. Bettie.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom    Psalms 51:6

Did You know that Parasites lay up to Six Thousand Eggs a Day?

Taking Control of Your Life and Health:  Be wise and get understanding Continue  "Day 16  2011"

Consider this:  parasites do not always cause disease that can be diagnosed; if you have any of the following symptoms, you may be dealing with parasites in your body.
Itchy ears, nose, anus or even a constant itchy sensation on your back, arms, legs, scalp problems or sexual dysfunction
Skin conditions such as rash, hives, and acne.  Female problems with the menstrual cycle, anal itching, especially at night
Irritable bowel syndrome or even Crohn’s disease, Candida yeast infection, recurrent vaginal and bladder infections and an increased appetite
Forgetfulness or foggy memory, slow reflexes, allergies, blurry unclear vision, gas, a bloated stomach, and sugar cravings
Now, do not forget about your children.  Yes, they are perfect little candidates for parasite infestation.  You may have observed odd behaviors in your children and just passed it off as a phase of growing up.  If you notice that your kids are constantly craving sweets, sodas, junk foods, hair pulling, short attention span, grinding of teeth, crying spells, rashes, eczema, allergies, bad breath, asthma, anal itching,  hyperactivity, or ADD;  you may be dealing with parasites.  Many times they are undiagnosed in children until after one has been passed in the stool.  Don’t be alarmed; babies can have these critters also.
If you have gained considerable weight and has experienced any of the above symptoms it may be time to determine the cause.  According to studies, weight problems can be a sign of parasites and constipation.  So, what can we do?  Clean the colon; it can be a nesting ground for parasites.  Over time the colon can become impacted with encrusted fecal matter and cause protruding of the abdomen, a bloated stomach and excess weight in the hips and thighs.
If you have any of these symptoms or problems, you could be a host to parasites.  The problem will not just go away, but worsen over time, if something is not done.  Take control of your health today.  Besides your children, it’s your greatest asset. We will continue to listen to what Ms Bettie says...how we get Parasities?
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

Are you feeling Sluggish and Bloated? Could parasite be the cause of your health problems?

Taking Control of Your Life and Health Continue "Day 15  2011"
Are you a host to an unwelcome party?  You are feeling sluggish and bloated all the time; no matter what you do the symptoms will not leave.  Well you may not be at fault, except you have no idea of the cause for the problem.  Listen, you may have thousands of tiny parasites eating away at your organs, which is making you feel very miserable and uncomfortable.  Parasites are no longer a Third World problem, more and more Americans are plagued by them every year.  It is estimated that approximate ninety percent of people living in the United States have some form of parasite.  It could be ringworm, roundworms, tapeworms, flukes, or microbial growth and their eggs.  These critters rob your body of vital nutrients, which cause poor health.

It is very vital to your health to keep your colon and digestive tract clean.  Parasites like dark, moist areas like the colon and digestive tract.  Their eggs hatch in the colon and they invade the intestinal wall, depositing their toxic waste of feces and urine in your body.  Their waste is pure toxic ammonia, which distress the kidney, liver, and your immune system.  Afterwards, they migrate to all parts of your body, and then you began to feel excessive hungry with no satisfaction, no matter how much you eat.  This cause weight gain as the parasites gets larger and stronger.
The more toxic your body become, the more you crave junk food and sugars.  Parasites love sugar and are known to be one of the causes of diabetic tendencies and blood sugar discrepancies... says Ms Bettie.

What is Toxie Sludge and What Causes it?

Do you now understand that maybe what we thought was designed to help us may in fact be hurting or even killing us?
Are we aware that we are perishing from a lack of knowledge: knowledge is available but we are rejecting it…..
Our bodies are being damage from internal toxins. Just like our car needs an internal cleaning (oil change) in order to operate properly, our body needs an internal cleansing. With all the toxins entering our bodies through foods and water, along with the synthetic drugs that millions of Americans take, we have created a cesspool for disease to grow. If we put garbage into our system, but never take it out, it’s going to create major health-related problems. This is why cleansing is a key component to maintaining optimal health and preventing toxic sludge.

What is toxic sludge and what causes it?  There are over 8,000 different species of parasites that are known to have invaded the human body. No one ever talks about parasites, or the grief they can cause. Yet, nine in ten Americans are said to have these life sucking worms living in them. Seven of ten Americans are said to have parasites in the brain. Could parasites in the brain cause one to be a little cloudy or foggy? Could parasites in the human body impair our wellness? Consider that parasites eat us, and then expel their waste in us. We call this waste, toxic sludge. Ms Bettie asked, "How much toxic sludge is in your system? "
And they shall teach my people [the difference] between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.      Leviticus 10:10

Taking Control 0f Your Life and Health        "Day 13, 2011"
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.  3 John 1:2

You must have an understanding of what’s causing the problems to deal with the problems.
Our health care system deals with symptoms. Symptoms are just an alarm system
within your body, to say something is going wrong. Your body operates just like
a computer. It will do everything possible to eliminate and compromise to
continue to function. When it becomes over loaded and cannot dump, it shuts
down. We are here to inform and educate, so you can take authority over your
life and health and live a healthy prosper life.
                “Do you see the problem?”
The food industry, which is over One-Trillion dollars, creates the problem and the l.5 Trillion-Dollar drug industry “treats the symptoms,” created by the food. It’s up to you to take authority over your
health and do what is right and good for your body.

Doctors and healthcare professionals have convinced us that the joint and bone
pains, low energy, heart burn, arthritis, or other ailments are just a part of
growing old. Could it be that you are “eating your health away?” Prescription
drugs are not designed to cure diseases! They are designed to suppress the
symptoms until the body finds a way of healing itself. Let me tell you, there
are no quick fixes with pills that will correct your health problems.

There must be a change of  heart, thoughts,  and  well made up mind to turn your life and
health around by doing what God said in Genesis. “Green herbs are meat for the
body.” Your cells and tissues are living substance and must have healthy living food
to stay alive and remain free of disease and poor health.

Does it make sense to take a drug to “fix” one thing, but “break” three or four
other things as reflected by the side effects?
Organs in your body that were working just fine before the drugs are now being damaged. Now you have to take more drugs for the damaged organs which ultimately lead where; to declining health and possibly even death!
